Browser fingerprint test

Test your browser

This runs in any browser, not only PATANYX. It reads the same surfaces a tracker reads, canvas, audio, graphics, element measurement and a background thread, and it runs the individual tricks a tracker would use on each one. For every trick you get one of three answers, measured in your own browser a moment ago.

This page runs a small script in your browser. It sends nothing: every reading is taken, checked and discarded here, and there is no network request of any kind in it. The script is a plain file at probe.js, and the background thread it starts is at worker.js. You can read both. Nothing runs until you press the button.

For each surface, every trick a tracker could run ends one of three ways:

Fooled it. The trick came away with nothing it can use.
Spotted it only. The trick can tell a protection is running, but recovered no real value. This outcome only exists when there is a protection.
Read you. The trick recovered your true, reusable value.

A browser with no protection scores every trick as read you. There is nothing to spot and nothing to fool, so the value is simply handed over. That is why an unprotected browser fills with red marks here rather than showing a clean sheet.
